At Clutch Carbon, we’re all about keeping things transparent and straightforward. Customizing your perfect steering wheel (or magnetic paddle shifters) doesn’t have to feel like rocket science. Here’s how it all goes down, step by step.

 

Step 1: Find Your Car

It all starts with your car.
Head to our catalog, select your car’s make, model, and OEM steering wheel, and voila—you’re looking at the products that are specifically for your ride. No awkward “universal fits” here. If your car isn’t listed, shoot us an email. Odds are, we can still make it happen.

 

Step 2: Build Your Masterpiece

This is where the fun begins.
Customize your product exactly how you want it. Choose from:

  • Materials: Alcantara for track-ready vibes or leather for timeless luxury.
  • Colors: Match your stitching and center stripe to your car’s interior—or go wild and make a statement.
  • Add-Ons: Flat-bottom design? Heated wheel? LED shift lights? The sky’s the limit.

We’ve made the process as intuitive as possible, but if you’re stuck, just holler—we’re happy to help.

 

Step 3: Place Your Order

Once you’ve designed your dream setup, add it to your cart, check out, and you’re all set.
We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, and other secure payment methods. No bartering or crypto, though—sorry, not sorry.

 

Step 4: Production Begins

Here’s where the magic happens.
As soon as your order is locked in, we send your specifications to our trusted manufacturing partners overseas. These are the same expert factories used by other big names in the industry (but we’re the only ones telling you that).

Timeline:

  • Standard Builds: Production typically takes 4-6 weeks.
    • If your car is something that is not normally available in Asian, we need to source an OEM wheel for your build, which add an extra 1-2 weeks for us to get it shipped to the factory.

Every product is made-to-order, so nothing sits on a shelf collecting dust. That’s why it takes time, but good things always do.

 

Step 5: Quality Control

We don’t just take the factory’s word for it.
Before your product is shipped, our bilingual American staff on the ground in China inspects every detail to ensure your customizations are spot-on. If something’s off, we fix it before it ever leaves the factory.

 

Step 6: Shipping to You

Once your product passes quality control, it’s on its way to you.
We use reliable carriers like DHL, UPS, and USPS to deliver your order, with shipping taking about 1-2 weeks depending on your location. Expedited shipping is available at checkout if you’re impatient (we get it).

You’ll receive tracking info so you can stalk your package like it’s the last Amazon delivery before Christmas.

 

Step 7: Installation and Admiration

Your custom product has arrived—now what?
We always recommend bringing your new steering wheel to a professional shop for installation. DIY is tempting, but trust us, it’s not worth the risk unless you really know what you’re doing.
